Windows Server Forum / Windows 2000 / Terminal Services / September 2003TS licenses
Need help: I have a win 2k server running, but the TS license server is not yet activated. When i check the license server i can see that right now it's assigning temporary licences, but i also see that it says "Existing Windows 2000 License" and number of licenses is unlimited, ? is this correct, the server has an unlimited number of permanent licenses?. Also, all of the TS clients will be using win 2k pro. Since W2K Pro and XP Pro clients get a free license from the TS Licensing server, there are an unlimited amount of "Existing Windows 2000 licenses" available on the server. So just activate the LS and your clients will receive one of these licenses.
