Need help:
I have a win 2k server running, but the TS license server is not yet
activated. When i check the license server i can see that right now it's
assigning temporary licences, but i also see that it says "Existing Windows
2000 License" and number of licenses is unlimited, ? is this correct, the
server has an unlimited number of permanent licenses?.

Also, all of the TS clients will be using win 2k pro. Do any to purchase any
licences ?
or wil TS work just activating the license server?

thanks in advance

Since you will be strictly using W2K to connect to your
TS.. the only licenses you need to buy are the "server
cals", the terminal server cals (the ones that you have
seen listed as "unlimited" you don't need to by since your
running w2k)

Since W2K Pro and XP Pro clients get a free license from the TS
Licensing server, there are an unlimited amount of "Existing Windows
2000 licenses" available on the server.

So just activate the LS and your clients will receive one of these
licenses. No need to buy anything.
