Why don't you try a network boot that automatically loads
mstsc.exe and connects you to the terminal server?

I was talking to someone last night and they recommended Pilot Linux.  It is
a bootable CD that you then enter your server name and that is it.

I haven't tested it, but you might want to look at it.
