Hi all

This is going to seem like a really dumb question... but.. I have inherited
a new site that is running win200 SBS, ISA Server and Terminal Services. On a
remote site there is a network printer. I have port forwarded port 9100 but
nothing prints. The printer is an Oki C5100 but I have also tried a HP
laserjet 6p. I think the networking side of things is ok... because I also
port forwarded port 23 and can telnet into either printer. I have implemented
lots of these before and don't know where to go next... Is there anything ISA
might be doing??

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and rewarded with lashings of good
karma

I assume there's a jetdirect card there, because the 6p is not a network
printer, have you tried resetting the card and re-entering the IP address?

Thanks for replying ... yep jetdirect and yes I have done the resetting thing.

I have tried two different printers on two different sites. I have done this
lots of times before... the only difference being the ISA Server, which I
haven't done too many times. Is it possible that it is blocking outbound port
9100?? or I have to set something up ?
