I have 3 Xerox M15 Multifunction printers on my network, all setup on my
Windows 2000 Print server.   From the PCs on the network, the printers work
fine.   However, from within Terminal Services, I get a weird behavior.

I can print test pages from the user's RDP-based systems just fine.
However, when I try to print from any apps (Word, Excel, Acrobat Reader,
etc.,) I get an error stating that I should check to see if the printer is
disconnected.

Has anyone seen this before?   What should I do?   I can't blame the driver,
since the test pages work just fine, so what is missing between the
applications and the driver?

Thanks!

Sure you can blame the driver!
This is a very common symptom of a driver which is not 100% TS
compatible: test page prints OK, sometimes only for the user who
installed the driver, other printouts produce errors.

Multifunction printers are nearly always a problem (the
multifunction features will never work). You could try to disable
them, under properties - advanced. If that doesn't solve the
problem, map the printer to a native driver.
