Have you checked your time out limit on idle sessions?

How much idle time does it take to be disconnected?
If it happens after only 2-3 minutes of idle time, try to enable
KeepAlives.

http://terminal.servebeer.com/php/flaky_connections.php

If it happens after 15 minutes, check if there is a screen saver
configured in the rdp sessions.
