I downloaded and installed a Remote Desktop client on a
W2K PC.  I have not yet, been able to access this W2K PC
remotely from Win XP PC.  I can access the Win XP
remotely from the W2K PC.  I'm not able to access the
remote W2K PC.

Any ideas?

you can't, it's not a server, RDP is a client.

If you want remote control access of a Win2k Pro box, try
either Netmeeting or one of the many variants of VNC.
Both will work nicely and are free.
