I would like to set up Terminal Services on a Windows 2000
server.  When my remote users connect to this terminal
server I would like only the application they need to be
displayed on the desktop.  This application is located on
a separate box (Microsoft SQL server) How could i
configure my servers to accomplished this.

Additionally my internal users will also connect to this
Terminal server for the SQL application as well as local
application and file sharing.

Configure their RDP client to automatically start the application.
They will never see the desktop and will be logged off when they end
the application.

The next question is this. I have a w2k server (domain
controller) with terminal services running on it with 2
NIC's installed.  On one nic I am connected to a DSL
network where the local server has file and application
sharing.  The other nic is connected to another network
(T1 VPN) where the database server is located.  For my
Local users I would like them to log onto the DC for file
and application sharing.  Then with Remote Desktop
connection connect to the database server for that
application.  When they connect a specific desktop is
displayed for each local user.  When my remote user
connect they will get directly to the database server only
and a specific desktop is displayed.  How can I configure
these servers to achieve this task?

1) I think using the environment tab to launch the 1 app is a better way
since you can centralize control rather than do it at the client.
2) To have a different desktop for each user, look at AppLauncher Deluxe so
you can specify which apps each users get along with the folders.
