Hi
I hope someone has some expirience with this:
I bought a Zywall 100 to protect my net. Before I had a
Linux based firewall.
Since I use the Zywall I cannot work with Terminal
Services anymore. The connection always breaks after some
seconds and I get a frozen logon screen.
When I turn off the firewall feature of the Zywall 100
everything works fine (but unprotected).
I tried several registry settings (TCP Params, etc.), but
I figured out, that it isn't a RDP problem, it's a Zywall
problem.
I even cannot connect to another Terminal Server in the
internet, same disconnection problem. Even if all outgoing
connections are open on the zywall.
The funny thing: even if the firewall feature is on I CAN
connect from lan to a TS in the DMZ without any problems!
Any ideas
Best regards
Tom

I would call Zywall directly to see what is going on
here. They may be able to give you a software/firmware
upgrade that will fix this.

Hi
I know this is maybe not the right place/forum for my
problem, but I hoped someone else had the same problem and
knows a solution.
'Cause Zyxel forwarded my request to the local zyxel
distributor (switzerland). And the only answer I got was
to adjust the tcp parameters in the Terminal Services
registry. But this is not an option (and doesn't even
work), since everything works fine without the firewall.
So I'm hanging there ...
Just to let you know:
ZyNOS Firmware Version: V3.52(WB.1) | 06/02/2003

Problem is solved:
It was a Problem with the BinTec xDSL Router running on 10
MBit halfduplex. Changing the Interface to fulldublex
solved my Problem.
