We recently demoted the DC in this location and I need to install Terminal Services Licensing on the new DC. I selected the Application Server mode and permissions compatible with Win 2k Users. Next it tells me that certain programs may not work properly. Should I just go ahead with the install? Thnx No! What you are installing is Terminal Services in application server mode. You don't want that on your DC, and it's not needed on a Terminal Services Licensing Server. I am getting a licensing protocol error message when I try to remote desktop to the TS (not the DC). This also happens on new computers that I try to run Citrix on. I used to be able to RD to the TS. I cannot RD to the TS since I wiped out my laptop.
