RDP wrapped in ICA

Greetings:

We're running a Windows 2000 server using ICA, but we want to offer RDP for
remote desktop connections. RDP(ver 5.1) starts out running fine but over a
period of about 30 minutes start to get dog slow, and the screen repaints
are painfully slow. What might be going on here? Do ICA and RDP not get
along? Is there a problem running RDP within the ICA tunnel?

Thanks for any information you can provide!

Running: Windows 2000 on a terminal server: RDP ver 5.1. Citrix Metaframe XP,
SP4.

If you mean users are running an ICA Published Application, and from within
the application, launch an RDP Connection, no this shouldn't be a problem.

Where is the RDP Host, i.e. same network or across a WAN connection.  Try to
isolate the bottleneck.
