Hello,

I have a server with de SO Windows 2000 Server.
My server does not have disk space in partition c:
I can't install, for example, the Partion Magic, because the same reason
(out of space)... I even can't defrag the partition.

It is possible connect the disk in other PC and resize the partition? After
that, when i sart the server all works ok? Or became this errors like
windows XP?...

In your opinion, what solutions i have to resize the partition of my
server?...

All answers will be apretiated.

Thanks,
Nuno Gomes

I would suggest moving the swap file to a drive other than C, then try using
Partition Magic.

Hello, Danny

Please tell me one thing:
After resize the partition with the partition magic, when i start the system
there is any possibility of having error messages like in Win XP? The XP
detects changing in the disk and could freeze... And in Win 2000 Server?
There any disavantage of use Partition Magic?...

Thank you for all your help.

I don't know. Never used Partition Magic. You might check with their tech
support or see if they have a newsgroup you can ask the question in.
