Hi,

My W2K Systems hangs on the progress bar while starting up. Nothing is
loaded from there, and it just sits there. Pressing F8 during boot does not
repond. I tried to fix it with the recover procedure, fixing the MBR with
fixboot. Did not help, does anyone have any hints on how to get my system
back to life?

Sounds like some hardware may have failed.
