Greetings

   I realize this is says Windows 2000 Setup and my question is a Windows
2003 Server setup questio but I put this question in this forum because it
didn't give me the option for a Windows 2003 Server question so if you want
you can point me to somewhere else that I can have this question answered,
otherwise, I am running Windows 2003 Server on my laptop.  When I go into
Control Panel "Sound" is greyed out which means no sound.  The error is No
Audio found.  When I search the web tand got he advice to start sound under
Services in Conrol Panel and I did that.  The other advice to get sound when
running Windows 2003 Server under "Virtual PC" wdma_ctl.inf,  ctlsb16.sys
which requires getting drivers from the XP installation CD and running
Expand.exe  and Driver.cab in additon there are a couple of inf files like
ks.inf they say to run.  However, apparently since I am running  Windows 2003
Server on my C: drive and not under Virtual PC (which I don't know what
Virtual PC is) those instructions have not worked for me.  I also saw
instructions to install some Realtek driver so I searched for the Realtek
driver now when I start my laptop and go into Windows 2003 Server it says
found new hardware and I have to cancel out of that screen everytime I boot
up because I did not install any new hardware I simply downloaded the driver
they told me to.  So now I am turning to this community and asking if someone
can tell me how I can make sound work on my Windows 2003 Server installation
on my laptop (I can live with Windows 2003 Server telling me it found new
hardware if you can't help with that one too).
