Greetings,

I have re-installed Win2000 after a hard-disk failure, have run the
update procedure and configured the Administrator's desktop, Startup
environment and Firefox browser to a desired minimal functionality.

How do I make it so that any new users that are created will have the
same desktop, Startup and browser settings/bookmarks as the
Administrator's account, please? Do I need to somehow create a default
user environment that all new users will inherit?

Thanks.

You can create a profile the way you like it, then while logged on as
another user with local administrative rights Control Panel|System|User
Profiles, select the profile you adjusted, Copy To, Browse to
%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\Default User
Change "Permitted to use:" to "Everyone" OK

You must logon as another user that has administrative rights. The profile
cannot be in use.
