Are you running a web server? If not you can disable the counter. You can
Add/Remove them by regedit, but it's much easier to use exctrlst.exe
(Extensible Counter Listing Tool) from the resource kit to enable/ disable
the counters.

Thanks Dave. It is just a Pro workstation. I will download it and give it a
whirl.

I have tried the solution suggested but it did not work. Any other suggestions?

We have a server which has this event and we'd like to get it resolved. We use two IIS-based Programs that both reference: \aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727
It looks like the files are actually under the 1_1_4322 folder. What is best way to get this fixed?
