I just have a quick question:  I figured out how, in Setup, on my home
computer to have the first boot device be the DVD-ROM drive.  I put the
Win2K Pro disk in but nothing happened.  I turned off computer, and, again,
nothing happened.

Is there something I am missing, by any chance?   Was hoping for some
guidance on figuring out what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks.  :oD

Sounds like you did it right.

Possibly the cd is dirty or scratched...
possibly a bad cdrom.

If you are sure the cdrom and cd are ok...
you can put the cd in another machine and make a set of win2k installation
floppies (There will be 4 total)

Then try using the floppies...

Some machines can be stubborn and just plain not boot from the cd
