BIOS access? (IBM Netvista 688160J)

Hi again,

not sure whether this is related to "Win 2000 security" but I'll guess
I'll find out: there seems to be no way to get the BIOS setup screen -
pressing F1 or some other key during bootup makes no difference.

The machine is the recently acquired Netvista (688160J) I had mentioned
here before, and I would like to have the option of bootingit from a
floppy, thus my search for an access route to the BIOS.

Check with the OEM who makes the computer in question. This has nothing at
all to do with an operating system.

Hi, I understand that this has nothing to do with the OS - but i thought
it might have to do with "security", such as "making access difficult".

:-)

The OEM is IBM, so I'll try and see whether I can get info in one of the
IBM newsgroups - after all, it's an "old" machine... :-)
