Per Trendmicro's free HouseCall, my PC with Windows 2000 Professional is
still infected with traces of the gator.321 spyware.  I've run AdAware,
Spybot, and Windows Defender, and they've done their best, but gator is still
lingering when I run HouseCall.  Any assistance on how to clean it up is
appreciated.  Thanks.

You might want to post in one of the Microsoft virus newsgroups also. I
would make sure that you are using the very latest definitions for anything
you scan with and also scan in Safe Mode. It could also be that just a
remnant of the program is left over and running a registry clean up program
such as the free RegSeeker could help. I recommend that you select the
option to backup the changes to the registry before cleaning however. ---
