Hi all,

Does cusrmgr.exe sending password to remote computer in encrypted form?
Or have any method to encrypt the password first, then decrypt it in
remote computer. At last, use the cusrmgr to change admin password.

thx

I don't know but to find out you could use a packet capture program to view
the packet exchange to see if the password is shown or not. Ethereal would
be good for that. If the computers are in an Active Directory domain you
could use ipsec to make sure that traffic to the ports involved are
encrypted. However do not even attempt ipsec until you have a good
understanding on how to use it and test it as it can stop a whole domain if
done wrong. --- Steve
