Having problems with Windows Updates, looking for activeX components.  Try to
lower security, but makes no difference.  Tried to re-install IE6, but after
restart, it loops back to the start of the installation (3 times, then I
quit).  Tried to install other application, and receive error "do not have
sufficient permissions to write to the registry (when logged on as domain
administrator).  Not sure where to start on this one.  Can not apply windows
update to add security.  Any thoughts on this.

You might also want to post in the windowsupdate newsgroup. The only thing I
can suggest offhand is to put Windows Updates site into your trusted Web
Content Zone with the security level set to low and then try logging on as a
local administrator of the computer instead of a domain admin.  --- Steve

Thanks Steven.  No can do though, as it's the DC.  No local account or
workgroup exists here.

I'll check out the windowsupdate newsgroup though.
