Hi,

I was having problems accessing the registry of windows xp from a
remote machine on the same network. I am able to access the the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_USERS folders by making changes to the file

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurePipeServers\winreg.

However, I have been unable to make changes to the registry e.g.
creating keys, deleting keys, changing key permissions, etc. Is there
any method to perform all these tasks?

Does your account have permission on the remote computer?
