I recently set GP to redirect "my documents" on a 2003 server. I redirected
as "Basic" to D:\redirected (which is shared) and now when I am logged onto
the server as Administrator all the folders and files from "my documents"
have been placed on the desktop. If I delete a folder or file from the
desktop it is also removed from "my documents". What have I done wrong?

What settings (path to the share,..) did you specify? Are you saying
that the user's folders are on the server administrator's desktop now?

the path to the share is d:\redirected. The files and folders on the desktop
come from the "my documents" folder under the administrator id>
