Windows Server Forum / Windows 2000 / Group Policy / July 2008Unable to download Windows 2000 ,3-pack update.ERROR CODE 0x802400
Can someone please help me with this problem.I have'nt seen a remady for this problem yet.My XP 2000 home edition will not except the , KB936181---3-pack update , 2 of 3 will down load but the last part will not download.The ERROR CODE is , 0x8024002D. Any and all help will be appreciated. Hello playa-cal, If you use 2000 or XP,try this one. Stop Automatic update service, delete or rename the C:\winnt\softwaredistribution folder, start the Automatic update service and run the update again. The folder will be recreated. Just to jump in one post, is not a good idea.
