Dear NG, any reason why netdiag is showing the following error.... [WARNING] Cannot find a primary authoritative DNS server for the name 'Main.company.local.'. [ERROR_TIMEOUT] The name 'Main.compnay.local.' may not be registered in DNS. PASS - All the DNS entries for DC are registered on DNS server '192.168.110.252' and other DCs also have some of the names registered. IPCONFIG INFO... IF this machine is the DNS server it has no business with a DHCP assigned address. Likely it is NOT the DNS server but this (.252) address has been incorrectly configured EITHER on the DHCP server OR (more likely perhaps) on the machine itself. NOTE: A computer CAN have a DHCP assigned address and still OVERRIDE and set the the DNS server manually in its NIC->IP Properties. Most likely this is what has happened, and it has been set to the same number.
