I try to install linux (Suse 9.1 or Fedora) on my virtual Servers (Dell Power
Edge 2850 with 6 GB Memory, /PAE set or normal PC Intel 865 with 2GB Memory).
If i set Virtual machine memory (in MB) to 512 MB everything (installation
and operation) is working fine. If i choose more than 512 MB (e.g. 1024 or
2048) the installer will stop.
The last message i see is:
Ramdisk. Compressed image found at block 0
VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem).
Any idea?
Thanks

This is a known issue - and there is no known solution.
