Hi ALL,
I'm newbie in this software and now want to migrate existing Windows
2000/2003 server to Virtual Server 2005 R2. The windows servers are
installing using Dell PowerEdge Installation and Server Management Bootable
CD so that a tiny dedicated disk partition is created for system boot. I'd
installed SC VMM 2007 on a Windows 2003 Standard Edition R2 with SP2
machine. After adding a Virtual Server 2005 R2 (running on Windows 2003
Standard with SP2) host, I tried to convert physical server using the
"Convert Physical Server Wizard". I passed all the steps and started to
create the Virtual Machine but failed. The error message is "Boot and\or
System volume \Device\harddisk0\Partition2 was not selected or is not found
on source machine. However, I already selected all the partitions in Volume
Configuration" pages. Am I missed something?
TIA

Hi.
You must give drivers for network card and disk drives in the wizzard (step:
Conversion Information), so then the WinPE will recognize your disk drives.
I've made this P2V migration and it's documented in my blog in spanish here:
