I'm testing SCVMM 2007 for our team to manage our 14 MSVS 2005 Hosts and I'm
finding that Hosts are going into a "Not Responding" state quite a bit.  I
did some research ande  found what to look for and in one case did find the
WinRS service had crashed.  Uninstalled/reinstalled the SCVMM agent and now
it stays running but Host still reports "Not Responding."  Anyone else
experience this problem and can provide some suggestions because right now
it's not proving itself to be a very reliable management tool.  Awesome when
Hosts are responding otherwise.  Thanks!!

I have also seen this.  Usually corresponds to a failed refresh job of a
host.  I am not sure of a fix, but I seem to get this much more when I am
connected over a slower link i.e. VPN from home over DSL vs. being in the
office.  You can force a refresh, but that sometimes will fail.  I have seen
when the WinRS service has failed but mostly is seems like a timeout
situation.  Not sure if the timeout is on the client with the console or on
the host itself.
