I believe my issues are the limit of 16 gig but cant prove
it.  I do know that my C drive is extremely full.  The
service is running, but I cant mount the SMTP service.  I
found a few articles on how to mount and change the size
of the database to 17 gig but so far it doesnt work
either.  I sure could use some help from you experts.
Thanks
Michael

Look at the physical filesize of your priv1.edb is around 16GB? When you run
into the 16GB limit, your MS Exchange Information Store service doesn't
start, is it also not running? Please post any event log error
messages/codes in regard to your SMTP Service not starting.

THanks for replying. The event viewer when opened
initially displays the quantity of error messages but when
you click on a different tab such as security, all counts
go to zero and therefore leaving nothing to look at!  I
have had SBS since 4.0A and never seen this.  Without my
event viewer, I am unable to troublshoot!
I will check the file size in 30 minutes.
THank you

I think if you try to save and then delete the various logs you can
see new events or look at the old logs.
