hello,
ive been trying to connect my 2 servers (os: both MS windows server 2003) via network normally this wouldn't be a problem but they have a diffrent subnet
one is 192.168.1.2 and the other 192.168.2.3 ive tried connecting them via ip and computername but those wont work.
Any ideas?

you need a router to join them.

ive got 2 routers, because ive got 2 networks 1 server (192.168.1.2) is in the normal network and it needs to stay there the other is in the admin network and also needs to stay there, but i think i could be done via a second network card in both servers and linking them via a crosscable.
but other ideas are still welcome

that would be bad.  First, 2 subnets is a REALLY bad idea but you need a
router to bridge both subnets.  Multi-homing the server that runs your
firewall is a bad idea.

I believe your having the same problem I am. SBS2003 does not support trusts! you cannot apparently connect any other server to it! It wants to be at the top of the AD!
You also cannot use ODBC on another server as well at least from what I'm understanding. I have 12 servers and it won't connect!

we indeed do share this problem
my pc can connect to both servers and both servers cant connect to eachother
so ill guess i need a normal pc that connects both via an network bridge or my cross cable idea
