Hello,

We installed the trial of trendmicro officescan program today.  I
wrote down the password I choose during the installation and after the
install I cannot access the system.  It keeps saying incorrect
password.

i've tried everything.  I can't get the program off the server because
it requires a password.

What should I do?

Thanks in advance

Dan

From the Officescan Web Console (change password screen):

"...If you forget the console password, contact Trend Micro technical
support for instructions on how to gain access to the console again. The
only other alternative is to remove and reinstall OfficeScan.."

Try to email their tech support at:  support@support.trendmicro.com

If Trend provides a way to get into the console, I'd like to know it for
future reference.  I suspect it may have to do with changing the master_pwd
in the ofcscan.ini file ---   C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV

Not sure, but you may be able to reset the master_pwd to blank to regain
control of the console (and uninstall process).  May require a log off to
reset.  Of course, first make a backup copy of the ofcscn.ini file and put
it in a safe place in case things go south.

Here's a link to manually uninstalling Officescan Corporate Edition 5.5:  (I
presume it works for Officescan 6.0 that comes with CSM)
