I want to get this configured with all possibilities...are there any manulas out there on the web
Thanks in advance!
What do you mean "with all possibilities"? Exchange can be complex and
overwhelming. I have an 800 page book on Exchange 2000 sitting on my shelf
that proves that.
OTOH, SBS makes running, installing and configuring Exchange fairly easy.
Since you are asking the question, am I right to assume that you have not
worked with SBS before? If so, there's a few things to learn:
1. If this is your first SBS install, plan on doing it 3 times: once to go
thru the process, a second time to document what you do, and then a 3rd time
to make sure your documentation is correct.
2. Asks lots of questions, as you are doing, here in the NG
3. Trust the built in SBS Wizards. If you are one that likes to fiddle and
modify and change things behinds the scenes -- all I can say is -- Don't --
at least not initially.
Saying all that, I have installed several SBS2000/2003 servers over the past
3 years -- and I can truthfully say that before toucghing SBS, I had NEVER
installed a single Microsoft server of any kind. My background had been
Unix. So, I had no knowledge of Exchage, or ISA, or Active Directory. And
all my systems are working just fine.
So, I would say ... start slow, get Exchange running out of the box and then
learn and read!

When you did your google search, you didn't find what you need at
www.smallbizserver.net ??
www.MSexchange.org ??
www.isaserver.org ??
And believe it or not, the SBS documents at Microsoft SBS home page are good
reads.

On line book stores have a couple of good books on Small Business Server
and last but not least, spend a few dollars and get the SBS 2003 eval
edition,
install it a few times in a test system, to lean SBS limits and
possibilities.
