We run SBS2K with Outlook 2003 on XP Pro Workstations all fully patched.
Exchange Server runs in native mode.

Outlook users have their calendars set with permissions allowing the Default
and Anonymous users to view, edit and create appointments on other users
calendars.

All calendar folders are displaying correctly.

On User #1 calendar every other network user can click on User #1s
appointments, which open up for view / edit.  User #2s calendars will not
allow appointments to be opened displaying a message box "Unable to open
Free/Busy Information".

I cant see anything obviously wrong or different in the permissions of each
setup.  Any thoughts please?

This might apply. (Outlook 2003 might have a similar engine)

Ah, found the answer:
on users regular workstations where the calendar items can't be opened use
the start menu run command: "c:\.....\outlook.exe" /CleanFreeBusy, where
c:\....\outlook.exe is the full path to that file.

Oddly you don't get any message that anything has happened, but it seems to
clear the problem.

Shame that all the M$ help files I googled only show this as a solution for
Outlook 2K
