As I posted earlier, HP will not allow an order to be canceled once it is
submitted via their web site. Their stance is to refuse the order and call
them. Just did and was informed that they are charging me $59.99 for
shipping. I called 10 minutes after placing the order and it was not
supposed to ship until the second week of May. Very disgruntled.

PS - Can you be just "gruntled"?

If gruntled is the opposite of disgruntled, I'd say I'm gruntled with my
Insight rep, which is who I buy HP products from.  I'd recommend
establishing a relationship with one or two vendors of technology products,
and stick with them for all of your purchases.  A local source is best if
you have access to a good one.  There's no way a company the size of those
in the SBS community can make much of an impression on a company the size of
HP - if they cared about you, you would already not be in this situation.

Maybe you can complain to your credit card company and get the charge
removed.  Even if you get stuck paying it, you'll have the satisfaction of
knowing that responding to your complaint will likely cost HP more than $60.

I agree with Dave, don't let the "Big Boys" get away with it.

Where has Customer Service and Quality of Care gone?

Question the charge with your card company, they should refund you
immediately, then it will be HP responsibility to get from you.

I guess the only problem is do you need to but direct from HP again?

Good Luck
Barry
