I have a new Intel SE7501HG2 board and am trying to load
SBS2003 - not very lucky so far.
Unit has dual Intel Gigabit ports that I can not get to
work for anything.
Does anyone have this board coupled with SBS2003 in
working order?
Let me know how you did it.Many Thanks Prior.

Hi Paul,

At what point of the install are you installing the nics?

I am plugging in the NICs after the first boot (just
before SBS gets ready to install applications).
However, the NICs show up in the Device Manager as "not
starting".
I went to event log earlier and it says get latest BIOS
and drivers, which I am told it has; I am checking that
out right now - I just installed Intel Server Manager
5.5.5 and it is rebooting.  Hopefully, I will be able to
verify what drivers, etc. are in the system.
But everything boots up normally whether the NICs are
plugged in or not - they just won't start.
Thanks
Paul

Intel Server Manager 5.5.5 is garbage on SBS2003; I
recommend not installing until the revised model comes
out.  I did find out that all the drivers and BIOS I have
are the latest.  So why don't it work? I will be in touch
with Intel on Monday - Til then I will have to wait.
I must say that I think this is a very good board/case,
and it will be much better when it all works.
Thank You

Loaded it up with Windows 2003 last week.
Was an Intel server with this board.
Worked OK.
