We have SBS2000 network (ISA 2k, Exchange 2k, WinServ 2k),
one static IP, two NICs(1 internal, 1 external), and use
host headers for each website.
I would like to know what DNS records should exist at our
ISP if we host three domains and mail for each.
Right now I believe all we have is three records all
pointing to our one IP address; I do not believe we have
any MX records, anywhere.
Also, what DNS entries should I have on our server?
I am noticing some sporadic email rejections, and VPN can
not browse the network; Though, main concern in this
question is external connectivity.
Thank You

MX records are important! A good site to help is http://www.dnsstuff.com/
but as I say almost daily.... don't you want detailed web stat reporting,
security and reliability??? Do you know that many larger companies
outsource web hosting for these very reasons. It's not expensive, and gives
you more.

Hi Paul,
You can check on www.dnsreport.com about all exising records. Your ISP
should take care of that.
DNS on your nics should point to your server-IP only. The ISP-DNS-numbers
should be set in tab Forwarders of your DNS-server.
