Hello all,

I have SBS 2000 server - 20 CAL licenses and 9 station at network. I am not
able to add new station to domain - error 202 at EventLog - no free licenses
for server.
I need to remove and add licenses again but I dont know how.
Everywhere at internet are guides for SBS 2003 but it not works on SBS 2000.
Please help me.

Thank you very much.

Hello,

From memory you can add and remove cals by using the original licence
floppy disks. This is the only way.

Thanks

Hi Jan,

If your clients are still using Outlook 2000, make sure that the users use
the Shut down and Log off option when they close Outlook. If they don't
choose the log off option, the license will not be released.

Hello all,

thank you for your answers.
As I discovered yesterday problem was not at number of licenses....
Problem was at station - notebook Asus N70V series. I was trying everything
whan I known... When system run at emergency mode I was able to add notebook
to domain, but in normal mode no. I found some security program from Asus -
Asus security manager, that probably did not alow to add notebook to domain.
It is looking good right now and problem is maybe solved... I will wait some
time and I will see.
Thank you again.

Hi,
Ref the Shut down and log off option for outlook, how does this work with
users that have already been deleted and won't have followed this option?

Hi,

That hasn't got any influence. You could also reboot the server, which you
should have done anyway because of update MS08-067 that was released late
Thursday.
