Hello,

I connect to a WIN 2000 server by Remote Desktop from a pc running windows
XP. I have a local printer (HP Laserjet 2024) that I want to connect in the
remote desktop. The printer option is selected and the driver is installed
in the 2000 server however when I try to print my printer doesnt appear in
the remote machine. The printer is connected through a DOT4 port. Is this
the problem? How can I solve this?

Thanks

Hi Joao:

First, this group is for SBS 2000, which is not exactly the same as Win
Server 2000.

You might try a Windows 2000 or a terminal server group.

Lastly, and I may be wrong, it does seem that DOT4 ports are a problem with
TS.
