Hi - I am used to w2k3 server, and cannot figure out how, in SBS 2003 , I can
find out the name of the tape which is in the backup tape drive at the
moment; also what is the path to reformat tapes?  I keep getting failed
backups with the error msg "Cannot locate the specified media or backup
device. This backup operation will terminate." Thanks.

Hi Kathleen:

This is a news group for SBS 2000, which is a bit different that SBS 2003.
The 2003 group is:

microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs.

As to your question, the tape drive will show up in Device Manager and is NT
Backup, both of which are the same as Windows Server 2003.

Larry,
Sorry, I had to jump onto something else for a few weeks, but thank you for
your reply.  I'll go out to the 2003 group and see if anyone is experiencing
the same thing.
Thanks again,
Kathleen
