Is it even possible to upgrade 2000 to 2008?
I didn't see it on the list of the supported systems, but, I firgured I
would ask anyway.
Or would I have to do a full install and not an upgrade; I would really like
the upgrade so I do not loose the network configuration and would it keep
everything such as the Exchange Server settings as well.

Since SBS 2008 is 64 bit you won't be able to do an upgrade. Microsoft
should have some info when its released about how to migrate to it. There
will probably also be some type of migration method  provided at
www.sbsmigration.com by Jeff Middleton.
