After plenty of unsuccessful attempts to search for these answers I have a
few questions regarding how a customer could have purchased a retail version
of Windows Advanced Server 2000?

1. Is Windows Advanced Server 2000 always a standalone product?
2. Did Windows Advanced Server 2000 ever come bundled with Small Business
Server 2000?
3. Can you provide any customer facing website links supporting your
responses?

Thank you!!

You'll be lucky to find anything much about SBS2000 on the net now.

SBS2000 was based on Windows Server 2000 Standard Edition, not Advanced.
Advanced did not come as part of a standard retail SBS purchase.

Would there be a bundle of Advanced (the more expensive package) and SBS?
Not to my knowledge.

Can I give you a link? It's sortta like asking for a link to 'this proves a
cow is not a banana'. Yep, it might exist out there, but I dunno of it.

It was. Same as Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition is today (that's
the equivalent WS2003 edition).

No. There'd be no logic to that.

Nope. And I doubt that you'll find any. You might try the WayBack Machine,
and see if you can get relevant MS pages from that era (www.archive.org)
but there are no guarantees with the WBM.
