Viruses are getting tougher and more harmful. Obviously SBS, a
Firewall and AntiVirus suites are the norm.
>From what I can gather, AV companies are recommending puting a Gateway
serverin front of SBS(ISA) to isolate threats before getting into the
SBS hardware platform.
If anyone has installed a gateway for this reason, please pass along
any documentation or advice on what needs to be done.
Thanks all!

I have a Sonicwall TZ170 in front of my SBS, but I don't subscribe to their
AV service. IMO a reliable AV product installed on the server, and scanning
the file system plus Exchange, is all you need. FWIW, I started blocking
all incoming e-mails with potentially dangerous attachments, and my virus
activity has just about disappeared. I use both the SMTP filtering in ISA
2000, and the "pre scan block" feature in my Exchange AV, which deletes all
attachments on the list without even attempting to scan them first. I block
a whole list of stuff like exe, bat, pif, com, etc. - most of the ones
you're seeing with viruses. I've had no problems since I started the
blocking.
