Hello,

Background : User is running Outlook 2003 with SP2 on XP Pro, Exchange
Server 2000 on Windows 2000 Server.

We have a client that has a user that has full access to a contacts
list with in a public folder. In that public folder is a distribution
list which contains some of the contacts from the folder.  This person
cannot send to the distribution list, outlook does not seem to resolve
the underscore underneath the DL. She cannot right click on the DL and
send
to the Distribution list. She CAN right click on any contact and "Send
new message to contact"

The user is using roaming profiles.

We have tried the following :

Rename .ost file and let outlook make a new one
turn off exchange cached mode
Checked for existence of outlook address book service (its there).
gave the user owner privileges to the public folder containing the
contacts.

Any suggestions?

thanks

NF

Hello,

We are having the same problem here...  But we are using alot of DLs but
when the owner has a DL containing other DLs, users cannot send e-mail with
the complete DLs...  Furthermore, if I copy all these DLs on my outlook and
use them , they work...

Did you get any help on this?
