Password Protected Xls files !!

Hello,

Whenever I put a password protected Excel file into Public folder it loses
its password protection !! becomes viewable without password !!! any ideas?
Windows 2003 sp1 + Exchange 2003 sp2.

How are you putting it in there?
Try putting it in as an attachment to a posted item.

Hmmm. You might try posting in an Outlook group on this one, honestly. I'm
presuming you can send the same pw-protected Excel file to someone via email
as an attachment, and the password protection is retained.
