Hi!

Is there a way to change the smtp header during e-mail send in exchange
2003. Exactly what I need: In an exchange 2003 environment, when someone
sends a mail with her own e-mail adresse, the server change the smtp header
with another central e-amil adresse. (Like it was in Outlook express reply
adresse. I didn't find it in exchange - outlook environment).

Thanks a lot in advance,

Kornel

Thanks, for the fast reaction. As I read your the doc of this tool, It is
good for all of users, I only need some of users (security group). Is it a
simplest way, or I misunerstood something?

Email addresses need to be unique - only one recipient can have a particular
email address.

One way to accomplish the desired result - set up another mailbox (or
distribution group, if you want to distribute incoming email to that address
to all users). Make sure this user gets the email address (as primary SMTP
address) you want to send out as.

Add everyone who needs to send as this user to a group.
Assign "Send As" permissions to the group.
When users want to send mail as this new user (with the desired email
address), have them add the new user's address/name in the From: field in
Outlook.

(Alternatively, you can have them use Outlook Express to send these
messages).

Alternatively you can use this third-party utility:
