- Assuming you'll create a separate Routing Group for europe.domain.com
- Run Domainprep in the europe.domain.com AD domain
- Setup Exchange servers in that domain
- Create a new RUS and point it to a DC in the europe domain
- Create Routing Group Connectors to nyc.domain.com and back (RG Connectors
are one-way)
- Create a SMTP Connector for address space * in the Europe Routing Group,
choose local servers as bridgeheads
- Create a Recipient Policy with a filter that can pick up all users who
need the domain.uk email addresses
- Make sure DNS zone for domain.uk exists on a DNS server accessible from
the internet, MX record points to appropriate (A records of) the server(s)
in Europe
- Make sure inbound smtp connectivity exists to those servers (that accept
inbound mail) from the internet. This will involve setting up your firewall
with appropriate NAT & access rules.
