Hello,

I am planning to move the Information Store and the Public Folder databases
to faster LUNs. Some of the .edb files are really big (about 100GB!). For
planning a downtime, how long do you think is adequate time to move, say a
100GB database? The server has 4GB RA AMD 2.6GHZ, and the LUNs are on an EMC
Clarion SAN with dual 2 Gb Fiber Channel fabric.

Thanks for your help.

What will you use to move them?

I will use ESM to point to the new LUNs.

Limited by disk of course, you can expect max throughput in the 25gb/hr
range.

Ask EMC.
