I created a new domain in the same forest but I can't seem to get the
exchange server 2003 SP2 (in the root of the forest) to manage accounts in
the new domain.

Am I missing something, or is a seperate exchange server required for each
domain under the 1 forest?

Thanks

A separate Exchange server is not required for every Domain in the Forest.
Run DomainPrep in each domain that has users, Exchange servers and GCs.
Create a new RUS and point it to a DC in the Domain without Exchange server.

I'm shipping an exchange server disk to the new domain in the forrest so I
can run the exchange setup domain prep from the new domain controller.  Then
I should be able to add the new RUS.

Thank you very much.

Dear Bharat,

regarding to your reply, i agree with you on the first thing, which is
running DomainPrep on each domain that needs to Exchange located on the root
of the customer network who posted the question, but my question is, do i
really need to create a new RUS to serve the new child domain under the
forest ? i personally did same thing for one customer , actually recently,
and i didn't add a new RUS to point to the new domain , DC or GC, do you
think i need to do that ?

can you please guide me to an article explains that ?
