Hello

Our company is planning a name change soon.
We've already checked on available domain names and have reserved many.

My thought is that we will leave internal domain naming conventions alone,
but that we will obviously want an additional domain name for email.
This would be an additional domain name, thus leaving the current domain
name active for email publishing purposes, ect.
I guess we are looking at adding the domain name to Exchange, our SMTP
servers, an additional MX record, updating smtp addresses for users and
checking our email filtering appliances.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of scenario?
Any good "how-to" artciles out here?
Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
THanks,

Mark

You already have the process down.
Insert new domain in Recipient Policy and make it primary.
Leave the old one in there for as long as you want.
Setup the external DNS zone with the correct A and MX records for the
server.
