We need to add a number of new exchange users. Can we just add another server
to the existing Exchange organization and point the new users to it. Have
them use the new server name? Or do We have to setup a Front end - Back end
configuration to utilize multiple servers on one domain? We also have a lot
of users on outlook over HTTP

Thanks

- More users can be added to an existing Exchange server, or to an
additional Exchange server. When you install a new Exchange server, it is
installed in the first administrative group.
- FE/BE topology isn't required simply because you added another Exchange
server. However, if you're using FE services like OWA, EAS, RPC over
HTTP(s), et al, it simplifies access in an environment with multiple
back-end Exchange servers.
