I want to configure Exchange for calendar sharing only.
I want to keep my mail offsite.  When I created my domain
I used the default company.local.

When my users schedule an event in their calendar and try
to invite someone it uses their .local email address that
was setup by default when I created their ID.  How do I
force exchange to use their real address?

Thanks,

Corey

Corey,

In AD users and computers. You can manually edit their default SMTP mail
address. Their is also away to do it for the entire domain but it is not on
the tip of my tongue at the moment.

Hi Corey
If you want to set the address for the whole domain so it is added automatically each time you set up a user, you can do this under "recipient policies" within the exchange administrator.

Take a look at Microsoft article 822447, it will show you the format for this

All of the email addresses in my address book have
the .local domain, how do I change those?
